Welcome! I’m Moritz — an iOS developer who couldn’t stop poking the backend.

Somewhere along the way I started enjoying the “boring” parts: deployments, release versioning, Docker Compose, health checks, and the kind of automation that saves you at 2am. I also run a small homelab, build lots of tiny tools, and generally try to turn chaos into repeatable systems.

This blog will be a collection of notes from that journey: Swift (client + server), DevOps-for-normal-people, self-hosting, and the occasional side quest into game-y systems and creative projects. Everything here is written with one goal:
